Robert James Frain, 69, Cherry Tree, passed away Sunday, November 20, 2016.

Born January 30, 1947 in Bolivar, he was the son of Vincent Howard and Irene Pearl (Woods) Frain.

Robert was employed by Kiski School in Saltsburg.  His favorite past time was building model cars.

Surviving is his wife of 42 years, Norma Jane (Hazlett) Frain, whom he wed September 21, 1974; two children, Mark James (Tammy) Frain, Home, Melinda Sue Frain and her fiancé Terry Beatty, Punxsutawney; two grandchildren, Debbie Sue and Holly Nicole Jane; sisters, Rosetta (Grant) McIntire, Blairsville, Linda Mae (Clarence) Dull, Easley, SC; seventeen nieces and nephews; and three great-nephews. 

Preceding Robert in death were his parents, brother, Willie Edward Vincent Frain; and an infant sister, Brenda Sue Frain.

Friends will be received on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the John A. Lefdahl Funeral Home, Indiana.  Funeral service will immediately follow at 8p.m. in the Lefdahl Chapel with Pastor Jack Lucas, officiating.
