- About Us
A funeral service is a special time for family and friends to comfort one another, and to begin to find healing and celebrate a life well lived.
The importance of a visitation often goes unnoticed until it’s too late. That is why we are the John A. Lefdahl Funeral Home encourage a visitation so that the grief process may be initiated.
Over the past 21 years, we have been providing our families with professional service as well as reasonable pricing.
I have always said that for a funeral to be meaningful it does not have to be expensive. That is why we are now offering an at-need full funeral service which would include a funeral home chosen 20 gauge casket by Batesville with a choice color, sealed outer burial container, four-hour viewing with next day service in our exclusive chapel, hearse rental, local transportation, register book and up to 100 memorial folders for $8,000. Cash advance items which would include death certificates, clergy, obituary, and cemetery would be an additional fee. Autopsy and organ donation preparation would be an additional fee.
At the John A. Lefdahl Funeral Home, we feel every family deserves the opportunity to provide their loved one with a meaningful service that is not based on cost alone.
The John A. Lefdahl Funeral Home conducts many full services each year. A visitation service can consist of either a one day viewing with next day service or viewing and service in one day.
Whether you choose burial or cremation, you can hold a funeral service to honor your loved one. We are happy to provide a traditional funeral or something completely unique. Many cultures and religions have special funeral traditions and we will do our best to accommodate your requests.
This is a moment for you and your family and we are honored to help you in any way that we can.
Just like a funeral service, a memorial service is a time to remember your loved one. This can be held shortly after death or weeks later, with or without an urn present. What’s important is that it creates a time and a place for family and friends to gather together and support one another, share memories and pay their respects. We can hold a memorial service at our funeral home, the final resting place or at your home.
A casket burial is a traditional service and there are many options you can choose from. We can provide an immediate burial without a public service; a visitation, viewing or wake with a closed or open casket; a funeral service at our funeral home, church or private home and a graveside service at a cemetery. You can choose whether you’d like a public or private service or a combination. It is entirely up to you how you wish to pay your respects.
