Jeanne Marie Bible, 76, Penn Run, PA, passed away Thursday, April 13, 2017, while at the Indiana Region Medical Center.

The daughter of George Johnson and Pearl Sheets, she was born May 31, 1940 in Parsons, W.V.

Mrs. Bible was an environmentalist and an advocate against cruelty to animals. She was a member of the Indiana County Humane Society.

Surviving is her husband, Melvin M. Bible, Penn Run; children, Mark J. (Patricia) Bible, Long Island, NY; Lynda Canali, York, PA; grandchildren, Austin and Colin Bible, Long Island, NY, AND Gregory and Trisha Canali, York, PA.

Preceding Mrs. Bible in death were her parents.

Funeral arrangements will be private and entrusted to the John A. Lefdahl Funeral Home.
