Esther Ruth Marshall, 93, Indiana, passed away on Monday, October 10, 2016 at Indiana Regional Medical Center.

The daughter of Luther and Bessy (Kaufman) Spence, she was born September 2, 1923 in Plumville, PA.

Esther was a member of the Salem Lutheran Church.  Her hobbies included gardening and growing flowers. 

Surviving is her son, James L. Marshall and wife, Patricia, Indiana; one grandchild, Pamela Ann McWilliams and husband, John, Colorado Springs, CO; two great-grandchildren, Johnathan and Courtney McWilliams also of Colorado Springs; and a sister, Ethel Jean Fogel and husband, Dale, Kane, PA.

Preceding Esther is death were her parents; husband, Richard Dale Marshall, and a sister, Anna Mae Wingard. 

Friends will be received on Friday from noon till 2 p.m. at the John A. Lefdahl Funeral Home.  Funeral service will immediately follow in the Lefdahl Chapel with Rev. Jack Lucas, officiating.

Interment in the Smicksburg Cemetery will be private.
