Cathern States, 74, Indiana, passed away Friday, July 22, 2016, while at the Indiana Regional Medical Center.

The daughter of Clifford and Mary (Gray) Moore, she was born May 4, 1942 in Patton, PA.

Cathern was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She loved the Lord and was a member of the Church of the Resurrection, Clymer. Cathern also loved her pets and had many over the years.

Cathern is survived by a daughter, Jackie Kline, Marion Center; three grandchildren, Angela (Ryan) Kline-Claycomb, Blairsville, Christina (Jason) Fairman, Marion Center, and David Kline and fiancée, Trudie Meyers, Marion Center; great grandchildren, Aidan and Melina Pollock, Blairsville, twins, Rachel and Emily Fairman, and Tylar Fairman, all three of Marion Center;; a brother, Clifford (Carol) Moore, Alabama; and a sister, Joann Zimmerman Blystone, Indiana; half sister, Betty McCabe, Ohio; half-brothers, Norman Moore, N.C., AND Arlington Moore, Homer City; and sister-in-law, Wilda Lowman, Indiana.

Cathern was preceded in death by her parents; husband, David; and thirteen siblings.

Friends will be received on Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm at the John A. Lefdahl Funeral Home. A Blessing service will immediately follow in the Lefdahl Chapel with Father Anthony Klimko, officiating.

Interment in the St. Anthony's Cemetery, Clymer will be private.
