Janet Ruth Henderson, 76, Indiana, died Wednesday, August 09, 2017 at Bethany Place Personal Care Home.

The daughter of Basil Alfred and Hazel Mildred (Rhine) Zack, she was born March 15, 1941 in Brush Valley Township.

Janet attended Luciousboro Wesleyan Methodist Church and she loved the Lord.  Friends will remember Janet’s interests in flowers and her vegetable garden and will also remember her as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

Surviving is her husband, Charles Henderson, Sr., Indiana; children, Charles Henderson, Jr., Las Vegas, NV and Ethan Scott Siddiqi, Baltimore, MD; grandchildren, Aneisha Henderson, Homer City, Marisa Henderson, Aultman, and Angel Henderson, Aultman; brothers, Thomas (Georgia) Zack, Lucernemines, Samuel (Nettie) Zack, Black Lick, John (Laurie) Zack, Blairsville; sisters, Betty (Richard) McKendrick, Penn Run, Eleanor (Theodore) Bowser, Blairsville; and many nieces and nephews, especially Donna and Janice who were most loving and helpful. 

Preceding Janet in death were her parents; sister, Dora Jones; brothers, Elmer and Kenneth Zack.

Friends will be received on Friday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the John A. Lefdahl Funeral Home with funeral service to immediately follow in the Lefdahl Chapel with Rev. Robert Thornton, officiating. 

Interment in the Oakland Cemetery will be private.
