Betty Mae Baker, 67, Indiana, passed away Monday, June 27, 2016 while at the Communities at Indiana Haven, surrounded by her loving family.

The daughter of Royden and Ethel (Lamar) Baker, she was born May 26, 1949 in Smicksburg.

Betty was a lifelong resident of Indiana County. She was raised on a farm and was a hard worker. Betty was a member of the Old Mahoning Baptist Church.

Surviving are her three sisters, Genevieve (Alfred) Rummel, Dayton, Sara Higgins, Josephine, Ruth (Russell) Wilson, Indiana; and several nieces and nephews.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents; a brother William; and brother-in-law, John Higgins.

Friends will be received on Thursday from 5 to 8 pm at the John A. Lefdahl Funeral Home, Indiana. Funeral service will immediately follow at 8 pm in the Lefdahl Chapel with Rev. Micah McMillen, officiating.

Interment will be in the Lakelawn Cemetery, Reynoldsville, PA.
