Thank you to all who have visited and shared your thoughts and sympathies. Mom was also a WDAD Good Gal of the Day several years ago. Obituaries rarely tell the whole story. I will continue to share thoughts and stories on Facebook. I am truly sorry that I cannot attend. Melanoma Cancer struck in 2011. There is no cure. Mom would not mind me encouraging all to have annual skin checks. Please stay out of tanning beds. Please protect you and all around you from sunburns. This is a terminal cancer with long lasting side effects. Few people understand this until it strikes. Please contact me at(817) 312-2811 if you desire additional information. I am a Certified Melanoma Educator. Mom had basal cell carcinoma on her nose that required surgical removal and frequent follow ups. The side effects and frequent biopsies and surgeries and radiation and scans and various treatments do not permit me to travel. Mom understood but still wished for all family to be together. Hug my brothers and their wives. Hug my son. Hug all my nieces and nephews and cousins who are there. And give Olivia Fogle (3 years) a Texas hug from her "Gwate Aunt Sistle!" She sings songs to me and tells me lots on the phone! Again. Thank you for being there. We all knew that Alta Watson was a one of a kind. She will be missed. But we shall all meet again in love and joy, free of pain and at peace. Love to all. Alta's Daughter

To: The Watson Family.
I am sorry for your lost. May you find comfort in God's word the Bible. At Isaiah 33:24 And no resident will say: "I am sick." It was not our God's purpose for us to get sick or die. He has made loving provisions to remove suffering and death from us forever. Our love ones will live again, we have the resurrection hope. Read John 5:28,29;6:40.
May the hope and promises in this Scripture bring you comfort and strength to endure the difficult days ahead. Please visit jw.org (Search Comfort)
