William Francis Jones, 81, died suddenly on Wednesday, September 7, 2016 while at Indiana Regional Medical Center in Indiana, PA.

William was born on January 25, 1935 to Auriles and Rose Jones in Greenfield, PA, where he lived until moving to Indiana, PA in 2007.

Surviving is his significant other, Sherrie Palmer, Indiana; children, Jeffrey W. Jones, Pamela (Casey) Jones Stamper, and Debra (Tom) Jones Fitzmaurice, all of Murrysville; grandchildren, Ryan, Connor, and Matthew Fitzmaurice, all of Murrysville; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mr. Jones was preceded in death by his late wife, Carol Ann Dudreck; mother, Rose Jones; father, Auriles Jones, sisters, Dolores Jones and Rita Jones Maloney.

During a successful career in the automobile business, Mr. Jones was a longtime general manager for various dealerships, as well as a productive salesman for Klein’s Drapery products in Pittsburgh.  Mr. Jones was a veteran of the Korean War.

Viewing will be held on Saturday from 2 to 4 p.m. at the John A. Lefdahl Funeral Home, Indiana.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday at 10 a.m. at St. Bernard of Clairvaux with Father Thomas Federline as Celebrant.  Interment will follow in the St. Bernard Cemetery.
