Roy F. Johns, 93, Indiana, died Friday, April 21, 2017, at the Indiana Regional Medical C enter.

The son of Morrie and Sylvia (Hill) Johns, he was born July 20, 1923, in Alverda, PA.

Roy had been employed by Bethlehem Mines 33 in Ebensburg. He was a veteran of WWII, having served with the Navy CB’s in the South Pacific.

Surviving is his son, Roy F. (Janet) Johns Jr., Hummelstown; granddaughter, Stephanie (Colin) Stebbins, Easton, MD. And Kristina Johns, Lancaster, PA; great grandsons, Gavyn and Liam Stebbins; sisters, Marie Tonski, Salix and Doris Jean Johns, Cherry Tree.

Preceding Roy in death were his parents; wife, Rose; brothers, Royal, Harold, and Richard.

Funeral arrangements will be private and entrusted to the John A. Lefdahl Funeral Home.
