Mildred Ruth (Semsick) Isenberg, 84, Indiana, died Saturday, January 14, 2017, at the Indiana Regional Medical Center.
The daughter of Walter and Exie (Bagley) Semsick, she was born August 11, 1932 in Indiana, PA
Mildred, also known as “Aunt Mid”, was married to her husband Homer Isenberg for 36 years prior to his death in 1990. She was a homemaker, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who was of the Christian faith. She will be remembered as someone who would offer help to anyone in need and will be sadly missed by all.
Surviving is her son, Dennis (Cheryl) Semsick, Nolo; daughter, Sherry (Terry) Butchkoski, Indiana; grandchildren, Crystal Butchkoski and Rex Kinter, Shawn (Carrie) Semsick, Craig (Beth) Semsick; great grandchildren, Wade, Nathan, Eric, and Kaylie; sisters, Mary Simon and Martha Barletta, both of Indiana; and her nieces and nephews.
Preceding Mildred in death were her parents; husband, Homer; brothers, Walter, Peck, William, Robert, and Jack; sisters, May Yingling and Margaret Fedinick.
Friends will be received on Monday from 7 to 9 pm at the John A. Lefdahl Funeral Home. An additional hour of viewing will be held Tuesday morning from 10 to 11 am immediately followed by her funeral service in the Lefdahl Chapel with Rev. Terry Semsick, officiating.
Interment will follow in the Oakland Cemetery.
