Jesse Tyler Armstrong, 24, Ernest, passed away Friday, April 14, 2017 while at Forbes Regional Hospital, Monroeville.

The son of Mitchell Allen and Sherri Jane (Heberling) Armstrong.  He was born July 3, 1992 in Pittsburgh, PA.

Jesse was a graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a degree in Biology.  He was employed by the Indiana County Workshop where he was a Transition Coordinator.  Jesse loved animals especially dogs and alpacas. 

Surviving is his father, Mitchell Armstrong and his wife, Hutoca, Ernest; his mother, Sherri Jane Heberling and her significant other, Keith Pisani, Pittsburgh; siblings, Nathan Armstrong, Tower City, PA, Chad (Logan) Armstrong, Fredericksburg, PA, Vincent (Brenda) Armstrong, Marion Center, Tiffany (Cory) Wells, Creekside, and Melissa Armstrong, Home; grandmothers, Frances Armstrong, Ernest and Martha Heberling, Home; two stepsisters, Mallory Fabbri, Plumville and Heather Hart, Mahaffey; and numerous nephews, cousins and one niece. 

Preceding Jesse in death were his grandfather, George Armstrong; great-grandmother, Ida Dockstrader; aunt, Brenda Kirk; and uncle, Aaron Heberling and his wife, Tracy. 

A private Memorial Service will be conducted at a later date.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the John A. Lefdahl Funeral Home.
