Betty Jane Bolinger, 85, Indiana, passed away Saturday, August 27, 2016, at the Communities at Indian Haven.

The daughter of Arthur and Margaret (Guidish) Stiffler, she was born August 16, 1931 in Commodore, PA.

Betty was a long time employee of Indiana Regional Medical Center and a very active member of the nursing alumni.

Surviving is her husband, Robert E. Bolinger Sr., Indiana; children, Linda Bolinger Proud, Arcadia, FL., Robert Jr. and wife Debbie, Lebanon, TN; grandchildren, Heather Proud Horvath, Keirstin and Catlin Proud, Andrew, Clifton, and Emma Bolinger; great grandchildren, Kyle and Lilly Horvath, Willow and Connor Proud, Eli and Etta Bolinger; brothers, Wayne Stiffler and his wife, Mildred “Mid” Stiffler, Altoona, Arthur “Bud” Stiffler and wife Marsha, NC; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceding Betty in death were her parents; sisters, Dorothy and Rosemary; and beloved poodle, Jack.

Funeral arrangements will be private and under the direction of the John A. Lefdahl Funeral Home.
