Frances J. (Bertuzzi) McCombs, 81 of Indiana, PA, passed away peacefully at home June 18, 2026. She was surrounded by her loved ones, Jacqueline (daughter), James Tersine (son-in-law) and Brandy, her furry grandchild.

The daughter of James H. and Gladys M. (Vasbinder) Bertuzzi.  Frances was born in Clymer, PA.  Frances was married to Richard C. McCombs for 54 years.

Frances was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking, gardening and canning.  Frances enjoyed knitting, reading romance and western books.  She liked watching Buzzr TV to see all of her old favorite game shows.  Also, she liked watching soap operas.  Her favorite was General Hospital.  She also enjoyed watching western movies, especially if John Wayne was in the movie.  Her favorite western series was Gunsmoke.

Frances is survived by her daughter Jacqueline Tersine and son-in-law James Tersine.  She is also survived by her siblings, Anna Marie, Jewel and John.

Frances was preceded in death by her parents, husband Richard C. McCombs, brothers Jim and Russell.
