William Henry Redd

William Henry Redd, 79, Indiana, passed away Saturday, September 16, 2023, while at Beacon Ridge Nursing Care Center.

The son of Hubert and Luella (Buggs) Redd, he was born April 29,1944 in Indiana, PA.

Bill was a graduate of Indiana Area High School. During his life he was employed as a miner and then as a foreman in the construction field.

His interests included fishing, hunting, and working on cars. He was a huge fan of the Dallas Cowboys. 

Bill will be remembered as a loving father, grandfather and as an outgoing and generous man.

Surviving are his children, Kip (Ira) Redd, Brian Redd, both of Indiana, Tara Redd, MD, and Tiara Redd, WV; grandchildren, Tyanna, Aneesha and Jaylyn Redd, and Cole William Fogus.

Preceding Bill in death were his parents; daughter, Nicole; brothers, Edward and Hubert and a sister, Helen Brandenberg.

Friends will be received on Saturday from 11am to 12 noon at the John A Lefdahl Funeral Home.

Funeral service will immediately follow in the Lefdahl Chapel with Pastor Stanford Webb III, officiating.

Interment in the Oakland Cemetery will be private.
