Vincent Paul McClure, 76, Greensburg, formerly of Indiana, died Thursday, April 9, 2020 at his residence.
The son of Albert and Ethel (Isenberg) McClure, he was born March 30, 1944 in Fulton Run, PA.
Vince was a graduate of Indiana High School class of 1962 and served in the United States Navy. He was employed 38 years as a US Postal Carrier. He was a former member of the Indiana Lions, VFW Post 1989, and the Chevy Chase Community Center. Vince’s interests included painting, gardening, and assisting older people on his mail route.
Surviving is his wife, Virginia (Dugan) McClure whom he wed December 4, 1962; children, Vonnie McClure, Greensburg and Vincent Patrick McClure, Connellsville; grandson, Alex McClure; granddaughter, Brittany McClure, Saltsburg; sister, Helen “Peaches” Yonitch, Indiana; sister-in-law, Clara McClure; and many nieces and nephews.
Preceded Vince in death were his parents; grandson, Nicholas Watson; brothers, William McClure and Richard McClure; a sister, Betty Lou Kuhn; brother-in-law, Michael Yonitch; and a sister-in-law, Betty McClure.
Funeral arrangements are private and under the direction of the John A. Lefdahl Funeral Home.
Interment in the Union Cemetery will be private.
