Toni Christina Freeman

Toni Christina Freeman, 77, Penn Run, passed away Tuesday, October 3, 2023, at her residence.

The daughter of Ronald and Elinor (Burkhart) Helman, she was born March 20, 1946 in Indiana, PA.

Toni was an active member of the Penn Run Church of the Brethren and the Penn Run community, and enjoyed the many friendships and the opportunities to contribute and to mentor these communities offered.

Her other interests included breeding and showing dogs, cooking, drawing, and painting. She will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother.

Surviving are her sons, Jeffrey Brashear and his wife Riwa Kassar, Miami Beach, FL, and David Brashear, Cincinnati, OH; grandchildren Kyle, Cailin, Raiya, and Leila Brashear, Zachary Brashear, Riley Swanson, Reagan and Ty Brashear; great grandson Carter Swanson; sister in law Ann Helman; and a niece, Melissa DePaul.

Preceding Toni in death were her parents; husband, Robert ; brother, Gary Helman; and nephew, Gregory Helman.

A Memorial service will be held at the Penn Run Church of the Brethren on November 4, 2023 at 11 a.m.
