Thomas G. Lipsie

Thomas G. Lipsie, 83, of Indiana, passed away on Saturday, November 9, 2024 at Indiana Regional Medical Center.

He was born March 30, 1941, to Walter A., and Virginia M. (Huber) Lipsie in Indiana.

Tom attended the Creekside Methodist Church.  He was a veteran, serving with the United States Navy. He worked in the coal mines, before becoming a truck driver for over 20 years before his retirement. He enjoyed spending time in the outdoors, hunting and fishing. Tom also enjoyed coin collecting and traveling.

He is survived by four children, Rochelle A. Fernandez (Jose), FL, Gary L. Lipsie (Evelyn), SC, Trudy Stear (Norman), Spring Church, Michael Lipsie, four grandchildren, Nicole Lipsie, Hope Smith (Matthew), Chelsey Reau (Dalton), Allison Lipsie, eight great grandchildren and a brother Mark Lezanic, Indiana.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Barbara L (Weiss) Lipsie in 2017, and a sister Connie Diane Lieble.

Friends will be received on Friday from 3:00 PM until the time of services at 5:00 PM at the John A. Lefdahl Funeral Home, 898 Old Route 119 N., Indiana, PA 15701.
