Steven Golec, Sr Obituary

Steven Allen Golec, Sr., 54, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, August 4, 2019 at his residence.

The son of Charles and Shirley (Doppelheuer) Golec, Sr., he was born August 16, 1964 in Youngstown, OH.

Steven was employed as a carpenter throughout his lifetime. In his free time Steven enjoyed fishing and watching movies.

Surviving is his mother, Shirley Neal; son, Steven Golec, Jr.; stepdaughter, Ashley Carley; siblings, Charles (Lisa) Golec, Cindy (Pete) Fellema, and Jeff (Ronna) Langer; 4 nieces; 2 great nieces; and 1 great nephew.

Steven was preceded in death by his father; stepfather, Kenneth Neal; and a son, Derek Golec.

Funeral arrangements are private and under the direction of the John A. Lefdahl Funeral Home.

Memorial donations may be made to First Commonwealth Bank, C/O Steven Golec, Jr. Trust Fund.
