Sara Lightcap

Sara Jane Lightcap, 73 of Home, passed away on Thursday, June 20, 2024, at Indiana Regional Medical Center.

She was born April 25, 1951, to Paul and Mabel (McCunn) Farren in Indiana.

Sara was a graduate of Marion Center High School and was a member of the Washington Church.  She was the Co-owner of Lightcap Automotive Transmissions. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Leonard Arthur Lightcap, Home, two children, Chrissy M. Eremic (Keith), Irwin, Michael Lightcap (Debbie), Plumville, a stepdaughter Tamara Lightcap-Leach, SC, four grandchildren, Marissa Lapp, Nicholas Eremic, Tyler Lightcap, Peyton (Blake) Fairman, a sister, Kathryn Farren, Indiana, two brothers Calvin Farren (Bobbie), James Farren, (Rebecca), Indiana. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Mildred Voytek, a brother Harry Farren, a niece Nicole Farren - Chichy, and a son-in-law Michael Leach.

Friends will be received on Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM and on Tuesday from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM at the John A. Lefdahl Funeral Home, 898 Old Hwy 119 N., Indiana, PA 15701.

Interment will take place at Washington Church Cemetery, Home, PA.
