Robert "Bob" F. Moretti

Robert F. “Bob” Moretti Jr. 73, of Marion Center, passed away on Tuesday, December 31, 2024 at his home.

He was born July 25, 1951 to Robert F. Moretti, Sr. and Mary (DeCenzo) Moretti in Indiana.

Bob was a graduate of Marion Center High School. He was a control room operator at Keystone Power Plant until his retirement in 2009. Bob worked as an IRP and EMT with Citizen’s Ambulance Service for many years. He was a former member of Marion Center Fire Department. Bob was an accomplished musician and vocalist. He played the saxophone, piano and keyboard. He played and substituted with several area bands throughout his life. He played with the Sammy Ray Band, the Ken Black Trio and GTOs. He was the founder of Keith Bloom Memorial Scholarship Fund. Bob was the tech support for many friends and family for computers and other electronic equipment. He enjoyed woodworking, music, computers, and had a very unique sense of humor.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Diana G. Moretti, Marion Center, two daughters, Rebecca Moretti (Matthew Weatherwilt), Vanessa Hall (JT Houser), both of FL, two grandchildren, Elliott and Kingsley Hall, nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Friends will be received on Monday from 1:00 PM until the time of service at 4:00 PM at the John A. Lefdahl Funeral Home, 898 Old Route 119, N., Indiana, PA 15701.
