Robert Arthur Krouse. 78, Commodore, passed away Friday, September 22, 2023, surrounded by his children.

The only son of Leroy and Florence (Stern) Krouse, he was born October 20, 1944 in Waterman, PA.

Bob attended Laura Lamar High School (now known as Homer City High School). He entered the U.S. Army in 1961 where he served 2 years including a tour in Germany.

Bob loved to fish, hunt, and watch the Steelers and Pirates. He also enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

Surviving are his children, Denise (Lester) Patterson, Glen Campbell, Rhonda (Myke) Mermelstein, Ohio, Lisa (Mark) Howell, Clymer, Robert Krouse II, Clymer, and Leroy (Robin) Krouse, Glen Campbell; 20 grandchildren; 44 great grandchildren; a sister, Sandra (Tom) Nanni, Home, PA; and many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

Preceding Bob in death were his parents; sisters, Diane Krouse, Dixie Kirk, and Darlene Gearhart; and grandsons, Cody Lemmon and Austin Leroy Krouse.

Friends will be received on Tuesday from 1 to 3 pm at the John A Lefdahl Funeral Home. Funeral service will immediately follow in the Lefdahl Chapel with Rev. Micah McMillen, officiating. Military honors will be presented by VFW Post 1989.
