Robert Lee Filipovich

Robert Lee Filipovich,Sr. 66, of Creekside, PA Died on Friday, March 7, 2025 at Indiana Regional Medical Center. 

The son of John Donald and Jean (Allshouse) Filipovich, he was born on December 29, 1958 in Indiana, PA. Bob loved hunting, fishing, camping, watching John Wayne, Harry Potter, and Western movies. He loved preparing food for family get-togethers.

Bob graduated from Marion Center High School. He obtained his Bachelor's Degree at IUP and his Masters of Social Work from the University of Pittsburgh. He valued education and cared for the community by committing 15 years to Children and Youth Services.

He is survived by his wife of 17 years Janis Filipovich, his children Robert Filipovich, Jr. (Nicole), Cassandra Fairman (Jeremy), Elizabeth Gromley (Robert), Sara Fulmer (Steven), Brittany Diamond (Benjamin), Julia, Garrick, Rhys, and Chloe Davies, 12 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, brother Joseph Filipovich (Jennifer), and Father and Mother in Law Robert and Lorry Gunter. Also, his two beloved boys Bear and Gunnar.

Per Bob’s wishes, a public celebration of life will be held at Creekside Fire Hall on Sunday, March 23, 2025 beginning at 1:00 p.m.
