Paul Thompson

Paul John Thompson, 87, Indiana, died Tuesday March 3, 2020, while at St. Andrews Village.

The son of Martin and Zula (Boring) Thompson, he was born June 13, 1932 in Barnesboro, PA.

Paul was a member of the First Church of God. He was employed as a carpenter for thirty-five years. In his spare time, Paul enjoyed hunting for both deer and turkey.

Paul will be remembered as a caring and loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather.

Surviving is his wife of 66 years, Ruby (Laney) Thompson; children, Roger (Elizabeth) Thompson, Arlington, WA., Wanda (Donald) Bothell, Creekside; daughter-in-law, Margaret Thompson, Indiana; grandchildren, Dennis Bothell, Creekside, Donna (Brian) McIntyre, Kittanning, and Jenny Michaud, Everett, WA; greatgrandchildren, Brooke and Nathan Bothell, Creekside and Kiley and Kaitlyn McIntyre, Kittanning.

Preceding Paul in death were his parents and a son, Gary.

Friends will be received on Sunday from 6 to 8 pm at the John A. Lefdahl Funeral Home. Funeral service will immediately follow in the Lefdahl Chapel.
