Patrick G. "Jerry" Batulis, 80, passed away on Saturday, January 11, 2025 at Indiana Regional Medical Center.
Surviving is his wife of 55 years, Margaret "Margie" Balogh Batulis; daughter, Melissa A. Fullerton, son-in-law Sean A. Fullerton, and granddaughter, Clare M. Fullerton. He leaves a sister, Mary "Jackie" Vann and a brother, John Batulis.
He also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews.
Jerry was employed at National Mine Service Company for 28 years and then as a med cart tech at Diamond Drug for 13 years until his retirement. He loved cars and driving. His favorite activity was a long, scenic road trip on a beautiful day.
He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, and will be remembered as someone who was always willing to help anyone who needed it. He was also well known for his "Dad" jokes and for making people laugh.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Ann (Carraher) Batulis.
Friends will be received, Thursday, January 16, from 2 to 4pm at the John A Lefdahl Funeral Home. Service will immediately follow in the Lefdahl Chapel with Pastor Micah McMillen officiating.
