Patricia Harper

Patricia Lee Harper, 84, Indiana, passed away Sunday, July 11, 2021 at her residence.

The daughter of Daniel and Goldie (Fonner) Smith, she was born February 9, 1937 in Green County, Pennsylvania.

Patricia was a member as well as the treasurer of the Bates Fort Baptist Church in Sycamore for many years.  She had been employed by Center Green School District as a custodian and security guard.  Patricia enjoyed reading and puzzles.

Surviving are her children, Kimberley K. Smith, Rebecca (John) Walker, Leslie (Terry) Tilley, Thomas “Ike” (Jennifer) Harper; siblings, Joann Wright, Mary Lou Miller, Joyce Vicker; 9 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Denver Harper; sons, Douglas Smith and Samuel Harper; and siblings, Ruth Francis, Clarice Wright, and Shirley Clark.

As per Patricia’s wishes funeral arrangements are private and have been entrusted to the John A. Lefdahl Funeral Home.
