Nancy "Kay" Heckman

Nancy “Kay” Heckman, 83, of Shelocta, passed away on Friday December 27, 2024 at Indiana Regional Medical Center.

She was born July 22, 1941 to George D. and Mildred (Widdowson) Smith in Indiana.

She was a member of Sagamore Wesleyan Methodist. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Kay loved sending her friends and family cards

She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Harold E. Heckaman, Shelocta, a daughter Wanda K. Bish (Ken), Shelocta, a son Jeffrey H. Heckman, Shelocta, a “daughter” Lisa L. Ridilla, Latrobe, two grandchildren, Kenneth H. Bish, (Anna), Kyle E. Bish (Kayla), a sister, Dorothy Elbel, Punxsutawney, brother-in-law Robert “Bob” Heckman, Shelocta.

She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and three sisters.

Friends will be received on Monday from 12:00 PM until the time of service at 2:00 PM at Mount Zion Church of Girty, 449 Girty Road, Shelocta, PA 15774, with Pastor Casey Heckman officiating.

Interment will take place at Mount Union Lutheran Cemetery, Shelocta.
