Nancy C. (Cochran) Polcha, of Indiana, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 17, 2024.
Born October 12,1942 in Indiana, she was the daughter of William and Imogene (McManus) Doty.
Nancy graduated from Laura Lamar High School, married and started a family. She has had a variety of jobs throughout her lifetime. She worked at Don Miller Shoes, Sears and Lucerne 8 coal mine as a clerk. She then decided to become a phlebotomist and worked at Red Cross until her retirement.
She is survived by children Denise (Dwight) McCullough of Blairsville, Pam (Victor) Bitens of Brush Valley and Mark Cochran of Blairsville. She is also remembered by her grandchildren Natalie McCullough of Troy, Pa, Christina (Josh) Palmer of Indiana, Jennifer (Billy) Hines of Girard Pa, Morgan (Nate) Lantzy of Blairsville and John Cochran of Blairsville. Completing her family are her great-grandchildren Liam and Lucas Hines and Myla Lantzy. She is also survived by her sister Brenda Doty of Indiana.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her first husband James Cochran and her second husband George Polcha.
Nancy enjoyed traveling and spending time with friends and family.
Friends will be received from 2pm until time of memorial service at 3pm on Saturday, January 4, 2025 at Bethel Church, 1470 Bethel Church Road, Indiana with Pastor TerrySemsick officiating.
Private interment will be at Oakland Cemetery at a later date.
Nancy’s family would like to thank the staff of Heritage Grove, Beacon Ridge and 365 Hospice for the wonderful care that their Mother received.
