Nancy L. Peterson

Nancy L. Peterson, 86, of Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, December 31, 2024 at Crystal Waters Personal Care Home.

She was born November 23, 1938 to Heber Dean and Lilian Grace (Ray) McGeary, in Indiana.

Nancy was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a homemaker and loved raising her family. When she was younger, she enjoyed deer hunting and fishing.

She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Edwin C. Peterson, two sons, Gary L. Peterson (Karen), Jeffrey C. Peterson, a daughter, Suzanne Hartnett (Greg) all of Indiana, five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. A sister, Diane Waksmunski (Dave), Indiana, and a brother, Dave McGeary (Janis), Dixonville, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Eleanor DeHaven and a brother Eddie McGeary.

Services are private and have been entrusted to the John A. Lefdahl Funeral Home, Indiana, PA.
