Michael Lewis Fink, 64, of Shelocta, passed away on May 9, 2026 at his home.
He was born June 30, 1961 to Foster Lewis and Sandra Lee (Adams) Fink in Tyrone.
Michael was a Veteran of the United States Army (1980 - 1985), where he served in the Military Police. After his service, he became a park ranger at Raystown Lake Recreation Area and then a corrections officer at SCI Houtzdale for 8 years.
Michael was fiercely patriotic and proud to have served his country. He was an athlete in his youth and coached track at his local high school. He enjoyed target shooting and was proud of his skill as a marksman. In his later years, his greatest joy was spending time with his family and friends. He was known for his kindness and generosity and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by brother Brandon Stuart [Erika] McChesney of Cranberry, sister Marta Elise [Robert] Farabaugh of New York, niece Olivia, and nephew Jack.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Kevin.
Friends will be received on Friday from 3:00 PM until the time of service at 4:00 PM at the John A. Lefdahl Funeral Home, 898 Old Route 119, North, Indiana, PA 15701
