Mary Anne (Nancy) Horgan, 82, of Indiana, PA passed away on Friday, February 3, 2023. Nancy was born in New York on April 19, 1940, the daughter of the late Anna C. Egan and the late Michael J. Egan of Massapequa, New York. She is predeceased by her brother, and best friend, William (Billy) Egan of Erie, PA.
She graduated from Plainview High School, Long Island, New York with the class of 1958. Mary attended the University of Rhode Island and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in history, magma cum laude.
Nancy is survived by her husband, Daniel P. Horgan of Indiana, PA, her daughter Anne McGowan and her husband Mark McGowan of Indiana, PA, and her son Dan Horgan and his wife Kelly Bressette- Horgan of North Easton, MA. Nancy also leaves five grandchildren, Connor McGowan, Ian McGowan, Alexandra Bressette, Katherine Horgan, and Katerina Bressette, along with several nieces and nephews.
Nancy had a passion for art and crafts, history, gardening, and coffee ice cream! She loved to travel and experience the world. However, her most important pursuit in life was taking care of her family.
