Linda L. Ray

Linda L. Ray, 76, of Ernest, passed away on Wednesday, April 23, 2025 at Indiana Regional Medical Center.

She was born March 21, 1949 to Bert and Mary Ellen (Shaffer) Pierce in Toledo, OH.

She was a member of the Church of the Resurrection, Ernest. Linda was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh, Pirates, Penguins and Steelers. She was all about her family, and was known as “Gram, and Nanna to those who loved her. Most of all she loved her family. She also enjoyed traveling, cooking and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She always took good care of her family.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years Richard Ray, Ernest, five children, Stacey L. Pelletier (Roger), MI, Kelley C. Ray, MI, Shannon D. Appleba, Johnstown, Richard F. Ray (Kim), MI, Kristene A. Ray, Ernest, 18 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son Fred J. Appleba, a daughter Linda D. Appleba, four grandchildren Leah Ray, Evan Pineda, Douglas and Noah Ray.

Services are private.

Interment will take place at St. Bernard Cemetery, Indiana.
