Leola Hill

Leola Marie Hill, 88, Indiana, passed away Sunday, February 23, 2020 at her residence.

The daughter of Dwight and Edith M. (Gregg) Wilson, she was born June 10, 1931 in Spangler, PA.

Leola enjoyed being surrounded by her family and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.  She will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother.  Leola built a contented life around her family. 

Surviving are her children, Janette (James) Hartzell, Kittanning, Susan Kimble, Indiana, Betty (Fred) Huff, Indiana, and Ted (Deborah) Hill, Lucernemines; brother, Wayne Wilson, VA; grandchildren, Stacie, Lisa, Mark, Kristy, Mindie, Bill, Josh, Laken, James, and Brandy; and numerous great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. 

Leola was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Hill, Sr.; son, James Hill, Jr., grandchild, Miri Hartzell; and siblings, infant sister, Chuck Wilson, Dwight Wilson, Ellen Frye, and Patricia Hill. 

The family would like to offer special thanks to Randi Shrecongost and Lisa Shaffer who cared for Leola.

Friends will be received on Thursday from 11a.m. to 1p.m. at the John A. Lefdahl Funeral Home.  

Interment will follow in the Oakland Cemetery.
