Larry Midock, 75, of Homer City, passed away at his home on March 31, 2025. He was born
March 12, 1950. He was preceded in death by his parents,Eugene Midock and Katherine
(Thomas) Midock and brother Joe. Larry was a native of Indiana, Pennsylvania and graduated
from Indiana High- School with the class of 1968. He was employed at Season-All Industries
and Helen Mines.
He is survived by his beloved and cherished wife of 49 years , Carole (DeCarlo) Midock. Larry
was a proud father to his daughters: Lauralee (Midock) Croucher, Jessica (Midock) Gally,
Heather (Midock) Shepherd, Christina Midock, his grandchildren Kierra Welch, Hannah
Housholder, Jordan and Tyler Gally, Haley and Hazel Shepherd, Finn and Forest Gresh, his five
sisters,Barbara, Cindy,Jeannie, Kathy, and Marcie. He carried many memories with his lifelong
friend Albee DeGastro.
Larry was an avid outdoorsman. He was a member of the American Legion, Red Barn
Sportsman Club, The Indiana Moose, and Graceton-Coral Sportsman Club. He enjoyed hunting
and fishing; particularly at his Camp Short Horn in Marienville, PA. He enjoyed riding his Harley,
watching sports, and playing cards. Larry was an avid gardener and loved spending his time
with his wife and daughter Tina, tending to their gardens. Above all this, his favorite thing to do
was spending time with his family and grandchildren; whether it was planning cookouts with the
Shepherds, or beaching down Florida with the Gally’s, family was his ultimate source of strength
and happiness.
Always loved, never forgotten, and forever missed; a memorial service will be held for Larry on
April 5, 2025, from 2-4 pm at John A. Lefdahl Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations can be
made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Association
