Judith Ann Hicks

Judith Ann Hicks, 80, Indiana, passed away Monday, November 6, 2023, at her residence.

The daughter of Charles and A. Ruth (Hughes) Steele, she was born November 26, 1942 in Rochester Mills, PA.

Judy was a graduate of Marion Center High School. She had been employed thirty plus years for PNC Bank and then opened her own business “Judy’s Sewing Studio” which she operated for 18 years.

Her interests included sewing, embroidering, and quilting. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

Surviving are her children, Julie (Dan) Schock, and Scott (Vandalia) Hicks; grandchildren, Brandi (K.C.) Lorow, Alexis Schock, Katherine (Pat) Duman, Aaron Hicks and his partner, Kaitlin Myers and Kimberly (Troy) Foster; 12 great grandchildren, brothers, Edward (Alice) Steele and Eugene (Louise) Phillipi; sisters, Nancy Houser and Evelyn (James) Wagner; and many nieces and nephews.

Preceding Judy in death were her parents; and husband, Budd.

 Friends will be received on Sunday from 1 to 2 pm at the John A Lefdahl Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will immediately follow in the Lefdahl Chapel with Rev. Micah McMillen, officiating.
