Joseph Paul Perfetti

Joseph Paul Perfetti, 69, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, November 22, 2023.

The son of John D and Phyllis (Galentine) Perfetti, he was born January 4, 1954 in Indiana, PA.

To know Joe would be to invoke the saying, “where the rubber meets the road.” You could have seen him lighting up the tires or pulling a hole shot in his 1970 Chevy Nova at Keystone Raceway, or rumbling down the highway on his blue Harley Davidson Softail with long fork tubes, giving off that perfect laid back natural ride that he loved so much. You may have caught him rolling down some old road pulling a flatbed in his classic Peterbilt (The Pete), the truck he adored and meticulously maintained to its pristine condition. In his later years, he stayed in motion by keeping up with his granddaughter, whom he proudly talked about to anyone within earshot.

Surviving are his children, Joseph Luke (Livia) Perfetti and Jillian (Albert) Fu; granddaughter, Sarah Fu; siblings, John A (Valerie) Perfetti, Julie (Eric) Tegethoff, Sylvia (Clifford) Steeves, Tina (Barry) Wiggins, Tricia (Mark) Carnahan, and Andrea (Mike) Cruzan.

Preceding Joseph in death were his parents and a brother, Michael.

Friends will be received on Saturday, Dec. 2nd from 2 to 3 pm at the John A Lefdahl Funeral Home.  A eulogy will follow in the Lefdahl Chapel.
