John A. Hunter

John Alan Hunter, 72, of Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, May 13, 2026 at Indiana Regional Medical Center.

He was born December 8, 1953 to John E. and Betty (Park) Hunter, in Indiana.

John worked in Highway construction for over 40 years. He was a member 48-year member of, Local 110, Teamsters Union. He enjoyed hunting, trapping, fishing, dirt track racing, and metal fabrication.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Patricia A. (Barish) Hunter, a son, Christopher A. Hunter, a grandson Joseph A. Hunter, a brother Bryan E. Hunter and wife Lisa, all of Indiana.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Private graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Interment will take place at Oakland Cemetery.
