John Mark Hardick

John Mark Hardick, 63, St. Petersburg, Fl., passed away Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at the Suncoast Hospice Care Center, Pinellas Park, FL.

The son of Lawrence Charles and Ruth LaRue (Bowers) Hardick, he was born April 19, 1960 in Indiana, PA.

Mark was a 1978 graduate of Indiana Area High School and a member of the National Honor Society. He attended Indiana University of Pa, graduating in 1983 with a B.S. in Business Administration.

During the 1980’s and 90’s, he was employed in the Hotel Management and Chemical Distribution business. Then, in the early 2000’s, he turned his childhood hobby of collecting baseball cards and vintage Hot Wheels into a thriving internet business which he continued until the time of his passing.

Surviving is an aunt, Mary Ann Hodge, Stoneville, NC; an uncle, Paul (Mary Jo) Hardick, Carlisle, PA; cousins, Debra James, Samuel Bowers, Jane, Justin, and Andrew Hardick, Donna Davis, Michele Fulton, Barb, Mike, Dan, and Jim Bowers.

Preceding Mark in death were his parents.

A graveside service for friends and family will be conducted on Friday November 10 at 2 pm in the Brush Valley Lutheran Cemetery. The John A Lefdahl Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Medicine River Animal Hospital, 13495 Gulf Blvd. Madeira Beach, FL 33708.
