Jeffery McKendrick

Jeffery Scott McKendrick, 63, McIntyre, passed away Saturday, June 8, 2019 while at Indiana Regional Medical Center.

The son of Joseph and Charleen (West) McKendrick, he was born September 2, 1955 in Barstow, CA.

Jeffery had been employed as a coal miner for 30 years.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his beloved dog, Roxy.

Surviving is his wife, Pamela (Spangler) McKendrick; son, Brian Trago, McIntyre; daughter, Crystal Banks and her fiancée, Gary Nichols, both of McIntyre; sisters, JoAnne Olechoveski and her husband, Mike, Hartford, NC, Daryla Sigafoes and her husband, Bill, Blairsville, Jolene Short and her husband, Jim, Indiana; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Jeffery was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Mark McKendrick, Peggie Leightley, Todd McKendrick, and Kenneth “Paul” McKendrick.

Friends will be received on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the John A. Lefdahl Funeral Home.
