Janet Marie (Dies) Zayac

Janet Marie (Dies) Zayac, 77, of Homer City, went to be with the Lord on 8/30/2024. She was born at her home in Tearing Run on 2/24/1947. She was the daughter of Lester and Dorothy (Lichtenfels) Dies. Janet married the love of her life George Zayac Sr. on 1/18/1964 and celebrated 55 years together until his passing in 2019. Janet loved to play the lottery, bingo, gamble at the Rivers Casino, and watch Country Music Television. She is survived by daughter Tracy (David) Metalla, son Timothy (Karyn) Zayac, grandchildren Shauna, Lisa, Amanda, Jonathon, Timothy Jr. Zayac, Robert and Jonathon Metalla, Amber (Jacob) Loppnow, Allan Douds, great-grandchildren Colton, Averie, Jamison, Juliana, Timothy III, Adryan, Ava, a very special friend John Burtick, and many beloved nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceeded in death by her husband George Zayac Sr., son George (Buddy) Zayac Jr., siblings Doris Davis, Helen Murdick, Maxine Tagliati  Patricia Helman, and Buddy, Richard, Ruby, Dean, Arlene, Nilene, Donnie and infant sibling Shirley Dies. Friends and family will be received on Thursday, 9/5/2024 from 3 to 7 pm at John. A Lefdahl Funeral Home at 898 Old Route 119 Hwy N. Indiana, PA 15701.
