Harry R. Zagurskie

Harry R. Zagurskie, 77 of Indiana passed away unexpectedly at his home on Saturday March 29, 2025.The son of Andrew and Anna (Komola) Zagurskie, he was born on July 30, 1947, in Aultman.Harry served his country in the U.S. Army.

For 46 years he was married to his wife Connie (Sensabaugh) Zagurskie until her death in 2022. He worked at Fisher Scientific as a machinist and group leader for 35 years. Harry was passionate about gardening, and it showed. Every summer with his beautiful green garden. He would make sure he grew everyone’s favorite vegetables. His friends and family always looked forward to his canned tomatoes, peppers, pickles, and beets. He also enjoyed making homemade sauerkraut. Harry enjoyed spending time with his neighbors and his daughter Stacey and him were the best of buddies.

Surviving are his daughter Stacey Ripa, and spouse Dan, Homer City, two grandchildren Noah Ripa and Owen Pellas,  a brother James Zagurskie and wife Ella of Homer City.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, a sister Shirley Hobart,  and two brothers Frank and Andrew Jr. Zagurskie.

Friends will be received on Thursday from 3:00 PM until the time of service at 7:00 PM at the John A. Lefdahl Funeral Home, 898 Old Route 119, Indiana, PA 15701.

Interment will take place at Greenwood Cemetery.
