Gerald J. "Jerry" Foltz, Sr., 69, of Marion Center, passed away with family by his side, on March 21, 2026. Born March 22, 1956 at Northside Hospital, Youngstown, Ohio, he was the son of Howard W. Foltz and Frances C. (Clark) Miller.
Jerry attended Liberty High School in Youngstown, Ohio, before moving back to Marion Center, where he lived on his family’s farm. He attended Vale Technical Institute in Blairsville, receiving an Associate's degree in transmission repair. He was most recently employed by Just Brakes in Kissimmee, Florida.
Jerry enjoyed hunting, fishing, attending stock car and drag races, working on cars, and traveling. He was a member of the Amateur Golden Gloves Boxing Association.
He is survived by his children: Lewis (Rachelle) Foltz, Homer City; Gerald Foltz Jr., Marion Center; Anna (John) Taylor, Indiana, Courtney Kleinfeldt, Colorado Springs, Colorado; Madelynn and Andy Foltz, Kissimmee, Florida, and ten grandchildren: Owen Foltz, Alex Foltz, Joaquin Foltz, Wesley Foltz, Sienna Taylor, Maura Taylor, Cecelia Kleinfeldt, Emerson Kleinfeldt, Lynora Kleinfeldt, and Shadaine M.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Howard M. Foltz, Loren W. Foltz, and infant brother Louis Foltz.
A memorial service will be held at John A. Lefdahl Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 24, 2026 from 4:00 pm until the time of service at 7:00 pm.
Interment will be private.
