George “Cy” Wilson Harbrige, 91, Marion Center, passed away Thursday, September 21 2023, while at the Crystal Waters Personal Care Home.

The son of Silas and Thelma (Newcome) Harbrige, he was born June 13 1932 in Marion Center.

George was a 1950 graduate of Marion Center High School. He had served in the military as a Private First Class in the Army. During his lifetime George was a hardworking dairy farmer.

Surviving is his son Barry Harbrige, Marion Center; grandchildren, Debbie Edwards and Barry Blose, Marion Center; a great grandchild, Aiden Edwards, Marion Center; and son in law Carl Blose, Marion Center.

Proceeding George in death were his parents; wife, Jean; daughter, Beverly; a brother, Eugene; an infant sister, and another sister, Leila.

Funeral arrangements will be private and entrusted to the John A Lefdahl Funeral Home.
