George Ewing

George B. Ewing, 67, Clymer, formerly of Penn Run, passed away Thursday, May 27, 2021.

The son of William and RoseMary (Shields) Ewing, he was born May 18, 1954 in Penn Run, PA.

George was employed in the gas and oil field for most of his life. He enjoyed listening to music, playing his guitar and reading his bible, but most of all enjoyed being a grandfather.  George was very proud of his 24 years of sobriety.

Surviving are his two sons, Christopher (Tammy) Ewing, Shelocta and Michael Ewing, Florida; three grandchildren, Kayla Pitzerell (Josh Harper), Indiana, Samantha Pitzerell, Shelocta, and Devon Ewing (Jessyka Renteria), Indiana and one great-grandchild, Cali Jordyn Ewing, Indiana; a sister, Loretta Campbell, Derry; and a nephew, Robert Mahnke, Derry

Preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Jerry and Leroy Ewing.

Funeral arrangements are private and under the direction of the John A. Lefdahl Funeral Home.
