George Clemons

George Clemons, 83, of Indiana, passed away on Friday June 5, 2026 at the Indiana Regional Medical Center.

He was born November 7, 1943 to Fred and Ella Clemons in Indiana.

He was a graduate of the Indiana High School. George worked as a lineman for Penelec for 30 years before his retirement. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. He enjoyed mowing and taking care of his yard.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years LuGene (Embry) Clemons, a daughter Shayna M. Clemons, a son Christopher G. Clemons, both of Indiana, a step-son Adrian M. Embry of GA, 10 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, a sister Sonya Clemons, a brother John Clemons and wife Lillian, all of Indiana, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers, Carl, Lloyd, Gerald, Fred, Robert, and three sisters, Eleanor, Shirley and Juanita.

Friends will be recieved on Thursday, from 12:00 PM until the time of service at 1:00 PM at the John A. Lefdahl Funeral Home, 898 Old Route 119 N., Indiana, PA 15701.
