Freda Mae Williams, 88, Home, PA, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at her residence.
The daughter of Fred Rosenberger and Lottie Melvetta, she was born November 6, 1935 in Armstrong County PA.
Freda was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. She enjoyed playing bingo and more importantly, her biggest joy was spending time with her grandchildren.
Her great grand-daughter, Mary Sue, once said everyone should get to have someone like Freda Mae in their life.
Surviving are her children, Elizabeth (James) Smulik, Anderson SC, Thomas and Robert Williams, both of Home, PA, Timothy (Nancy) Williams, Indiana, PA, Klara (Timothy) Rethi, Anderson, SC, Kathy (Jerry) Otto, Indiana, PA; Seventeen grandchildren; thirty five great-grandchildren; and twelve great-great-grandchildren; three brothers, Fred Rosenberger, Little Rock, AR, Kenneth Rosenberger, Brockway, PA, and Robert (Nancy) Rosenberger, MD.
Proceeding Freda in death were her parents; husband, Homer; children, Mary Sue McNevin, and Benard Eugene Williams; grandchild, Jason Paul McNevin; a great-grandson, Adam Sinclair; her sister, Lucia Bowser; and brother, Edward Rosenberger.
Friends will be received on Monday, January 22 from 4 – 6 pm at the John A Lefdahl Funeral Home. A memorial service will immediately follow in the Lefdahl Chapel with Pastor Jack Lucas, officiating.
