Frank Calvin Brown Jr.

Frank Calvin Brown Jr, 83, formerly of Clymer, passed away peacefully in his sleep early Tuesday morning, December 17, 2024 at Beacon Ridge.

Frank was born in Erie on March 27, 1941 to Frank C Brown Sr and Margaret Louella Webster Brown. He lived in the Corry and Meadville areas, as well as New Castle before moving his family to Indiana County in 1975 to find work here. Frank held many jobs over the years, with his last employment as a delivery driver for Gatti Medical Supply. 

He was a fun-loving Father, Husband, Grandfather, Uncle and Friend to many. He had a passion for antique cars and could tell you the year, make and model of any old car that passed by. He loved going on impromptu road trips with his sweetheart, Rose, whose passing 3 short weeks ago devastated him. He loved his family deeply and treasured every moment he had with them. 

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife of 45 years, Rosemarie Blackmon Brady Brown, whom he married on July 20, 1979 and who passed away November 26, 2024, his son Wayne Brady, sisters Rose Brown Willis Berry and Helen Brown, brothers Charles Brown and James Brown, sons in law Larry Gaston and Roger Bartlebaugh, and grandsons Joseph Gaston and Paul Brady.

Frank is survived by his sister Shirley Strine of New Cumberland and his brother Tom Brown of Mechanicsburg, his son Jeff (Doris) Brown of Clarksburg, daughters Jodi Bartlebaugh of Indiana, Jeannette (Kevin) Errett of Jeannette, Jennifer Decker of Homer City, Wanda Gaston of Marion Center, Patty (Randy) Rusnak of Sidman, and Scott (Sharlin) Brady Sr of West Columbia SC, Grandchildren Andy Brown, Kristy Brown Waltz, Joel Brown, Brandon Decker, Laken Decker Rowland, Reece Decker, Christine Hauser, Jason Gaston, Melissa Gaston Troup, Scott Brady Jr, Bethany Brady Sehorne, Christina Brady and Katie Brady, 19 great Grandchildren and 5 great great Granddaughters.

Friends and family will be received from 2 to 4 pm at Lefdahl Funeral Home on Monday December 23, 2024 with services immediately following. 

Frank and Rose's remains will be interred together at a later date in Greenwood Cemetery, Indiana Pa.
