Edwin C. Peterson

Edwin C. Peterson, 98, of Indiana, passed away on Monday, April 13, 2026 at Crystal Waters Personal Care.

He was born December 11, 1927 to Walter and Madeline (Lewis) Peterson.

Edwin was a wonderful husband, father, brother, grandfather and great grandfather He worked various jobs throughout his working career and retired as a composer from the Indiana Gazette. Edwin was a well-known hunter and fisherman who enjoyed driving to explore all of the Pennsylvania northern mountains.

He is survived by two sons, Gary L. Peterson (Karen), Jeffrey C. Peterson, a daughter Suzanne Hartnett (Greg) all of Indiana, five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, three sisters and a step-brother.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Nancy L. Peterson, December 31, 2024, and four sisters.

Services are private.
