Edward M. Valuchuck, Jr. 71, of Homer City, passed away on Wednesday, October 16, 2024 at the Indiana Regional Medical Center.
He was born March 17, 1953, to Edward M. Valuchuck, Sr. and Alice (Prymak) Valuchuck in Indiana.
Ed was a graduate of Edlers Ridge High School. He then worked in the mines, for R and P Coal Company at various locations. Ed enjoyed fishing when he was younger. He mainly enjoyed taking care of his property, cutting trees, grass and working on his house. Most of all he loved spending time with his family.
He is survived by two sons, Nathan M. Valuchuck, Homer City, Edward J. Valuchuck (Jennifer), Blairsville, and a daughter Nicole L. Henderson (Jason), Homer City, nine grandchildren, Josh, Shawn, Madisyn, Emily, Chase, Eden, Kaylee, Brody and Owen, two brothers, Ronald Valuchuck (Lucinda), Aultman, Richard Valuchuck, Saltsburg, and a sister Janet Aultman, Blairsville and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Mary (Pepple) Valuchuck in 2015, a son Shawn M. Valuchuck, a grandson Cody Valuchuck and a sister Linda Kline.
Private interment will take place at Greenwood Cemetery.
