Dennis Merle Roser, Sr., 74, of Indiana, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Nov. 29, 2025, at Indiana Regional Medical Center, surrounded by his loving family.
Born Nov. 5, 1951, in Colver, Dennis was the son of Elmer and Betty (Rippin) Roser. He shared 54 years of marriage with his devoted wife, Marcia (Parks) Roser, whom he wed on Oct. 9, 1971.
Dennis was a 1969 graduate of Penns Manor High School and spent more than 32 years working as a coal truck driver. He was a member of Tanoma Church.
Known for his love of the outdoors and simple pleasures, Dennis enjoyed collecting tractors and model cars, tending to his yard, caring for animals and most of all, spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Marcia; his children, Dennis (Dawn), of Wisconsin; Bethany (Jason), of Pittsburgh; and Nicole (Nathan), of Ohio; and his grandchildren, Emmaly, Katrina and Sidney.
Dennis was preceded in death by his parents; his special pets, Daisy and Kit Kat; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 7 p.m. Monday, December 8th, at the John A. Lefdahl Funeral Home, Indiana. A funeral service will follow at 7 p.m. at the funeral home, with Pastor Lois Jackson officiating. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Dennis’s name may be given to Four Footed Friends or the Indiana County Humane Society.
